Created in 2002 with as goal to offer a decent (complete) formation for those who wish to go profoundly into the art of corporal mime.
Students can come to the daily classes where they can experience and learn about this artform. The name Trident is choosen out of the corporal mime vocabulary and indicates (or refers to) a hand position.
The teaching is based on the techniek of Mr.Decroux, the classes are build up in such a way that every aspect of it will be worked on this to achieve clearness of movement and to improve to control of the body, progressively the student will understand some of the basic principles like Articulation, Counterweight and Dynamo-rhythm and to use them in a dramatic way, to act.
It's not gratuite,we go from daily exercises to train the body, through figures,compositions,improvisations to explore the ability to play and creativity, even the warming up is focused on our goal.
We will also have a look on the repertoire of Decroux and work on several pieces from it because it's out of these creations that he developed this beautiful technique.
