ABOUT BUSTER KEATON COMPANYThe esthetic of the Company this directed towards a theater of corporal action

without aid of the verbal. Ours interpreters them have one been accustomed to
formation in different disciplines related to the scenic art: mime,
performance, clown, acrobatics, dance, among others.
Company, founded by Pablo Bontá and Héctor Segura in 1996, releases: LA LITURGIA
DE LAS HORAS, performance that manages to install the group in the Argentine
theater field, with support of the National Found of the Arts and the auspice
of the Direction of Culture of the University of Buenos Aires, this work
participate in 2002 in the Festival International of Mime and Gestual Theater
of Reus, Spain and in the SCENA International Festival of Hannover, Germany; in
1999 IMAGINARIO, LABORATORIO DE COLORES, dedicated to all publics; in the 2000
DE NUEVO EN CASA, performance based on the life of the Argentine writer
Victoria Ocampo, released with the support of the National Found of the Arts
and the National Theater Institute; in 2001 ASP inspired freely by the work of
Samuel Beckett; in 2002 ENTRAMBOS, adaptation of the Quijote with the support
of the National Found of the Arts, Embassy of Spain and PROTEATRO (Institute
for the protection and promotion of the non-official theater activity of Buenos
Aires city), participate in IV the International Festival of Buenos Aires; in
the 2003; LA PÉRDIDA DE LOS NOMBRES inspired freely by a work of Peter Handke
with the support of the Embassy of Austria and PROTEATRO (Institute for the
protection and promotion of the non-official theater activity of Buenos Aires
city), participate in the Summer Festival of the Konex Foundation; in 2005 LOS
CUATRO CUBOS world premier of the work of Fernando Arrabal with the support of
National Found of the Arts, Embassy of Spain, Tersuave, Embassy of Holland and
PROTEATRO (Institute for the protection and promotion of the non-official
theater activity of Buenos Aires city); in 2006 RETAME ZÁRATE inspired freely
by the work of Samuel Beckett with the support of National Found of the Arts,
Embassy of Ireland and PROTEATRO (Institute for the protection and promotion of
the non-official theater activity of Buenos Aires city).
At the moment, the company is in creation process of his 9th production, about
the work theater of Catalan Joan Brossa.
